Piero Russi
Piero Russi
Piero Russi was born in 1957 and he studied at the University of the Studies of Florence at the Architecture Faculty, where he obtained his degree with full grades in 1983.
From 1984 to 1996 he worked at the architect Gae Aulenti's studio where he designed and carried out a number of important national and international projects such as:
- The Palazzo Grassi Museum in Venice
- The "Salle des Etats" contest at the Louvre Museum of Paris
- The Auditorium, Library and College in Biella, Milan
- The Gallery of the Temporary Exhibits at the Triennale of Milan.
In 1997 he opened his own architectural and industrial design studio and he managed a number of private and industrial projects. He has been a consultant for the company Conciaria Bonaudo which he designed for in 2000, the offices in Chivasso and in 1999 and 2003 the stands at the Bologna Fair exhibit. He is a consultant at FontanaArte for the architectural corporate identity. He designed the showrooms of Milan in 1997, the one in Los Angeles in 1998 and the one in Amsterdam in 1999; additionally, he designed the official exhibit stands that the company used to attend the exhibits in Milan, New York, Frankfurt and London. His realizations are also the "sponsored corners" at authorized resellers in Italy and Europe.
He also designed various products such as the Tigre lamps, the Utopia bookcase, the Chiappa chair and the Il Doppio vase for FontanaArte.
